This is another story of an interesting Portland resident who did something unique and good for the environment. Bruce Campbell is a retired aerospace engineer who thought simply scrapping old airplanes was such a waste of great materials. So what did he do? He had a retired Boeing 727 hauled out into the woods outside of Portland so that he could live inside the beast.
Now, his back deck is a wing and his reading room is a cockpit.
Just another example of how Oregon sets the bar really high for cool, trend setting and over the top unique.
