Bim Ditson, Portland resident and member of the band “And And And” had a revelation one day: Why not install a regulation basketball hoop on the back of his band’s tour van. ‘Cause why not?
He drove around and realized that he doesn’t know any basketball players, so he figured, why not start a basketball tournament between local bands? You may have seen some of these bands play if attending shows in Portland is your sort of thing.
And now, bands are collaborating with one another to make the music community in the area even better.
