Low crime, good schools, solid community feel. At the foot of the mountains, near to every imaginable outdoor recreation activity, but.,.................the truth is it snows all the time, the sun never shines, and summers are dusty and 120 degrees every day and all night long. Nobody works here so the streets are lined with people passing their day with cigarettes and joints. They clog the streets playing hopscotch too. The reason it's so dusty is that we get our exercise by throwing dirt clods at each other. The sky is full of crop dusters that come here to practice by buzzing the rural homes and our little town to do target spray practice. There are no crops because of all the years of poisons and you can hear the pilots laughing as they pass by. Oh- did I say there is no grocery store too! So no one can eat unless you go out back and skin your milk cow or your chicken that's too old to lay. The other option is to collect the seasonal scourge of Mormon crickets that devour every ones beet gardens and orchards, but they make a great afternoon fried up meal mixed with sagebrush bark and root. Of course there are more ground squirrels per acre than anywhere else in the world, and they are all inflicted with the plague. If you're from CA you may not wanna come!
