I'm from Lumberton, I work in Lumberton, I live in Fayetteville and I have been in every region of this state.

NC is an incredibly blessed state. We have great weather, beautiful beaches, the mountains, the coastal Plains, the piedmont, and several advanced large cities.

Yes, crime is there, there is no doubt. Sometimes it's a cycle passed from generation to generation. Sometimes it's desperation, and sometimes it's laziness.

I will tell you though, the majority of the people and places in North Carolina are good, proud North Carolinians. Some are born here, some are transplants, but we're all eventually Tar Heels.

Lumberton is a good place to raise a family. So is Fayetteville. We are blessed to be the home of Fort Bragg and Pope AAF, supporting the greatest military in the world.

I'm from Lumberton and might i say, Subway, not that I eat there often most certainly isn't behind Plexi, or glass.

I know millionaires who live in Lumberton. You have the oats, all wealthy people, you have Wycliffe, the same.

Now granted the south side of Lumberton is a dangerous area, but overall Lumberton is no more boring than Fayetteville, or dangerous.

Lumberton as a tight knit community, with many great aspects that involve positivity and the promotion of helping your fellow man. I don't drink 40's I don't have a pitbull, although that is a wonderful dog, and I don't say 'yo' or drive a less than desirable car.

I live in Lumberton it has got worse, but the subways don't have bulletproof glass lol from what I have seen the only place that has that is the gas station off exit 19

I use to live in lumberton, most of my family is there still. It is a getto of gettos. Though they did forget to add it is highly inbred.

I live 15 min from Lumberton. Worst place in the state, imo. Violent crime is so bad the Army sends medics from Ft Bragg down to the local hospital to train for combat duty overseas. They'll see lots of blood & guts in Lumberton to help prepare for other c**p holes where they'll serve.

Drugs are rampant in Lumberton. It's one huge stop for dealers along the I-95 drug route between NY & Flo Rida.

Oh, and it's run by Democrats. So, you know welfare hoes gonna be on the corner.

Having just moved down to NC, I've found I like it a lot down here. I actually live in Lumberton though, and find it appalling that the crime rate has been allowed to clime to the rate it's at. Where are the police- Why are so many scumbags getting away with daily thefts- And yes, I mean daily!
