Destin Florida is in the Panhandle of the United States and is a relatively warm climate. The Gulf of Mexico is a border and is a beautiful shade of blue. Many hotels and restaurants dot the area along with white sandy beaches. Schools are plentiful as are university experiences. The people are friendly and accommodating.
Because it is a high tourist area thieves abound in shopping malls and restaurant so you need to be aware of your surroundings at all times. The good side is it is mostly seniors in the winter and they love to spend money.
I had a great time in Destin, Florida. The beaches are beautiful and the area is very laid back. I liked being able to have a safe, family friendly vacation there. We went last October and it was still warm enough to swim. Condo rental prices in off season are affordable. We rented a place with our family and spent the days at the beach. We purchased and cooked a lot of high quality local seafood. We will be going back again next year.
My favorite place are the beautiful white sand beaches. We purchased our seafood from Sextons seafood market. The whole experience was great.
Destin is full of things to do. It has many activities for families and couples. Overall many of their tourist areas are clean and we'll kept.
Some of my favorite things to do in Destin are swimming at the beach and whale cruises. While on the beach make sure you watch out for sea life such as jelly fish.
I love Destin and have always had a wonderful experience when there.
The beaches are beautiful in Destin. The water is clear and a nice turquoise color.
There isn't much to do in the area besides going to the beach or eating at some nice restaurants. It's pretty quite around town & seems like mostly an older crowd or families live there.
The best places in Destin are the beaches. They have crystal clear water and white sands. The time I went which was in August, the weather was perfect & the beaches were not overly crowded. It really gives you a sense of peacefulness.
The white sand and attractions are amazing in Destin, Florida. Surfing, jet-skiing, and kayaking are must dos when you go here. Crab island is amazing as well.
What stood out to me was how diverse it was out in Destin, FL. The culture, food, and places to visit were amazing as well.
