Laramie is a university town with a variety of activities for people of all ages. Attitudes are easy going and accepting. People are open, honest, and freindly. There are mulitple local places of historical interest, natural wonders and avenues of adventure.
The Snowy mountain range was my favorite place with gorgous granite scenery, lakes, and seasonal hiking, skiing and snowboarding. The university always had activities going on in arts, sciences, and sports. Native American culture was highlighted as well as exploration and developemnt of the west.
I lived in Laramie the first19 years of my life. It's a cold. high windy, barren, subarctic place, for about 8 months out of the year. Powell is the banana belt of Wyoming! It's a great place to live!
