I spent my teenage years here and despised it. The crime rate was not exceptional. The schools were okay when I was there in the early 2000s, but bullying was rampant. I hear they are doing very well academically these days. There is nothing to do in Corinth except hang out at Walmart or eat at chain restaurants. Corinth finally got a movie theater after I left. It is a typical, dull small town in Mississippi.
People are incredibly religious. As a nonbeliever, that was endlessly annoying to me. There were some extremely ignorant folk there. However, most people were very polite and would go out of their way for people needing help.
