1 Reviews & Comments About Great Falls
No crime unless you count people climbing where they shouldn't. This was my haven from all things tough when I lived in WDC. I loved going to the falls to meditate, pray, journal and watch people. I went as often as I could and now would love to go back. I would sometimes go beyond the fencing where I wasn't supposed to go and climb in the boulders there and sit down behind so that I couldn't be seen from above.
This is such a soothing place to be both spiritually and mentally. I could lose myself in the sound of the falls crashing and the sounds of birds in the area. I loved the noisy silence. The nature was full of sound but there was silence from city living. This is one of my favorite places I've lived and traveled over my life time.
