Lived in AZ for 20 years as a black man married to a white woman for 11 years. Working at a hospital currently. Two types of racism can be found here white people discriminating against black people and Hispanics who segregate themselves from blacks and the blacks who were born in AZ discrimate against those born in other states. Don't even say hi. First time I've ever been called a n****r is here in Arizona while at work, not even in a confrontation with someone but just walking by and told " What are you looking at n****r" so they do have issues here.

The only good part as far as the state was the ability to purchase a house here and my wife is probably the nicest person in this place who grew up in Flagstaff.
