Night Crew Labs out of San Francisco has a goal of captivating people by showing awe-inspiring views of Earth. Boy did they come through on this one.
One day, they attached five cameras to a stratospheric balloon and launched it from the Presidio. It traveled south along the Pacific Coast before bursting and plummeting to the ground near Salinas, nearly 100 miles away.
From more than 90,000 feet, you can’t really pick out your home, but you might see where you live at some point in this really interesting and fun video.
