  1. Gorgeous video but not one Native American, not one Hispanic, not one African American; all white skin. Sad that the videographer didn’t bother to include representatives of ALL the citizens of this beautiful state.

  2. This is a wonderfully accurate representation of Nebraska. It may not represent the huge cities but look at a map of Nebraska…the vast majority of the state is rural. I agree, the Henry-Doorly is the BEST zoo, but that is not a true depiction of this state in its entirety. It is 130 acres out of a total of over 49 million acres spread across the state. This was an accurate depiction of Nebraska, not a highlight real of the few tourist locations.

  3. I grew up on a farm in Perkins County. Loved the mid-west work ethics, friendliness and nature of Nebraskans! Football, cattle, wheat, corn, more miles of rivers than any other state in the nation, Big Mac Lake, makes Nebraska stand tall! I’m proud to be a Nebraskan

  4. There are definitely beautiful scenes and people in Nebraska but mostly what you see is dying small towns and mega-farming using chemicals and genetically modified crops. The despair of dwindling towns pushes people to blame others–and FOX News fans the flames of resentment and prejudice to create a very ugly political landscape. I grew up there and remember the bigotry against Native Americans who lived nearby. Why didn’t this video show the beauty of Nebraska’s urban centers, as well? When the one reference to diversity came up, it was all about terrain. Oh yeah–and people are diverse too, but where are the photos of Somalians in Lexington and Latinos in Wahoo? White Nebraska is a thing of nostalgic erasure. Just stop!
