Every now and then, a video comes along that gives you a unique perspective on a place that you call home. That’s what we have here from Portland resident John Waller.
You can appreciate the Oregon coast in winter, as Waller uses awesome time lapse photography to capture stunning views of nature, and equally endearing moments of people in their day-to-day lives.
If you live in Oregon, get ready to puff your chest with pride. And if you haven’t been to the Oregon coast, you’ll want to after watching this.
We did.

Do you know where the spine hike out to the Pacific Ocean is located? It’s one featured in the video, shows a hiker hiking out with ocean all over the back ground?
Some friends are coming this summer and are asking where it is so they can go. I would love to go also.
Thumbs Point is 2 miles north from Devils Lake.
Cascade Head
It’s at 1:10 on the video, two hikers walking out toward ocean.
Beautiful scenery but, I did not like the high speed used in the photography.
