    1. I feel the same way about Florida. The bugs, snakes, and alligators aren’t typically an issue. They typically avoid humans. Crime isn’t great but I think it’s gotten better, And California has way more gang activity. And if you’re from Florida you don’t mind the heat, which in central Florida isn’t horrific really. It’s also one of the most affordable states to live in.

      1. that’s a lie, I live in Florida and I’ve been here for 14 years. The mosquitoes are the worst, don’t even go outside after 5pm if you don’t want to be covered in bites unless you’re running, skating, biking, or anything in a fast pace lol… Orlando, in my experience is a hot place for crimes lmao. Public education here has sucked too. \(‘-‘)/ Sure, parts of Florida have great prices for real estate, but with the tourism and old people clogging the roads and not knowing how to drive, I’d say it pretty much is garbage. Gators have chased my brother, I’ve been chased by angered snakes. And the weather here is even worse, it’s the end of October with 95% humidity. Yum!

  1. Kate. California is a large state. Okland isn’t safe to drive period. Los Angeles has several gangs. I worked in South Central LA for 12 years. 2 riots and still feel safer there than many suburbs near my home in San Diego.

  2. As a student in Tennessee, I can confirm the school thing. I haven’t been to all the schools, but i’ve been to a ton of them and most of them sucked, whether or not it was academically, how they handled things like drama, bullying, etc or how the teachers treated the students.

  3. Hialeah, Fl is the worst place to live in especially if you don’t speak Spanish. In addition no jobs plus they don’t pay well either.

  4. I was born in Tennessee, but I have never been robbed or house broken into, or victim of any violent crime yet. I’m 57 yrs old. I feel in I hadn’t been here all this time I probably would have me my demise long ago. Nashville is the state where I live. I Love it here!

  5. I live in Tennessee and I can tell you education is really bad here. I live in a smaller poor town in Tennessee and it is very full of thieves and druggies. Even in some places in the town we have glass between the workers and the customers. Also weather and other forms of crime are bad here as well. It rains a lot here in my town at least. You can’t walk out around here without running into someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. I mean the town I’m in only has a little over 10,000 people so maybe I just notice how bad it is

    1. you are right, I went to indianaplois to help my sis for a few months…lived right by the indianapolis racetrack, its called speedway indiana but its indianapolis….. we went out to the bar one time , A bar n grill mind you, and someone shot n killed that same night …Not even a club a bar n grill lol crazy ….
Then went to Wal Mart four people shot less than a mile away while we were shoping…. three kids and two adults and they were looking for the suspects as we’re driving back home .
Then On Indi 500 night . My sister lived little more than half a mile from the track which is the west side. So as you can imagine pretty busy on indeed night it took us 1 hr 45 minutes to get 7 1\2 miles and back so 15 miles total. We set at one light for 45 minutes but let me tell you there were some bad ass cars and bikes lined up along all of the roads and everybody’s yards. that was pretty cool.
well , took so long once we got to the East side we hada get gas bout 1\2 mile from where we were going. So my sister was pumping gas and I’m waiting in line outside the store where they have the little box it with the bullet proof glass for the cashier to sit in and I’m standing there waiting for my sister to get done pumping gas and soon as I step up to pay the guy he’s counting back his drawer.
At the same time there is a Madman about 20 ft from my sister, underneath the carport part of the fuel pumps, waving around a machete saying on his mama he’s going to stab this person. So of course sister is telling me to “hurry” !! and I’m standing there as the cashiers little sliding window is closed because he’s now counting back his drawer!! I tell her, “Im Trying!!!!” but he’s still counting his drawer! She’s like “Seriously?! OHH my God Dee Dee!!”(me): – “HURRY!!!” AS SOON as the cashier slid open the window, I threw the money at him like keep the change , ran over to the car where my sister is getting in like “let’s GO”!! I was thinking ‘I really just thought this guy was going to whack my sister.”
Amazingly we got to our destination only took us a couple of seconds. Now we are on our way back about to drive by gas station we was just at, and there’s ambulances and everything else and this guy is on the curb and handcuffs with a bunch of people standing around. The lights everywhere surrounding the gas station. It was the craziest trip I’ve ever had. I was only at my sister’s for like 3 months , I can say Indianapolis/Speedway Indiana is crazy.

  6. Honestly, especially NY? It’s the pits of them all. Lived there for 12 years, glad to be living in the best state of Georgia now!😁
